    I enjoyed reading this article.

    However, I would like to remind everybody that transdiffefrentiation is
definitely occurring as we see during SCNT, an adult somatic cell nucleus
can become a pluripotent embryonic cell.  By somatic cell nuclear
transplantation into an enucleated egg, even a fully diferentiated cell
could be turned into an embryonic sgte cell, since teh cytoplasm of the egg
contains all the right signaling molecules.  Therefore, in principle adult
stem cell should be able to do the same.  But, the question is what are the
right kind of signals one should provide to induce this.  Also, how many
adult stem cells could be made pluriotent sufficient enough to be of
practical use in regenerative therapy.  Answers to these questions will be
obtained only after further experiments comparing both the signals involved
in inducing transdifferentiation of adult stem cells, differentiation
signals required by an embryobnic stem cells to become differentiated into
different cell types, or such similar studies.   Converseley, follow the
SCNT procedure and get the required number fo artificial embryonic stem
cells, to save time and money.
    That is why we need to continue our studies on stem cell  biology.
