Scott, good luck with STRS.  When I was teaching 1965-1991 it was almost
impossible to get disability.  My PD came after retirement and I got my
earned SS Disability after 2 tries - $148/mo, reduced 60& due to low
teacher's pension.

I hope STRS does right by you.
