Re: Toxic Microsoft message
Thank you Bob
Please be on the lookout for a particularly vicious posting which appears to be coming from Microsoft. It speaks of "patches" to improve security in Windows and related Microsoft applications. It uses reasonably good English and appears quitge "official". It even says that it has been "virus-checked" and is certifiably virus-free.
Trouble is, it contains the "Gibe" virus, and if you open the attachment, your computer will become infected.
My Norton 2003 picked up the virus and quarantined it; but unless you are running Norton or some other such program (and are keeping it updated), you are in danger. Please be careful!
Best,
Bob
