Listmembers,
I recently learned that Anne Rutherford, a long time PIEN member from
Newfoundland was awarded the Governor General's Caring Canadian Award for
her many efforts to help other People with Parkinson's. The announcement
of Anne's award is below.

The award "honours Canadians for unpaid, voluntary contributions, most
often behind-the-scenes at the community level. They have given
extraordinary help or care to individuals, families or groups, or
supported community service or humanitarian causes. "
See for more about the Caring
Canadians Award.

Governor General when she will next be in Newfoundland .

Congratulations Anne on this very well deserved honor!
