George,
I'm curious, are you taking any sort of statin medication for high
cholesterol?  My husband (who does not have PD) suddenly developed double 
vision after
starting a statin because it caused a weakening of the eye muscles.  As soon as
he went off the medication his eyesight returned to normal.
