GRAND RAPIDS, MI: St. Mary's Mercy To Build Brain Ailment Center (AP-Grand Rapids, December 17, 2003, 5:08 p.m.-AP) Saint Mary's Mercy Medical Center will start raising money for what it says will be a pioneering, $15 million neurosciences center. A gift of $2 million gave the hospital a base to start the fund-raising. The proposed building will house clinics for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases, stroke, brain tumors, epilepsy, and spine and neuro-trauma. It will be named for lead donors Ralph and Grace Hauenstein.
