I had 1st botox (4) done painlessly By Dr. Swope at Loma Linda, they did no good. Then in Nov had 14-15 done by D. Hauser at Scripps, very painful, she had machine that had sound the dystonia makes. anyway, I am having it done again this Fri if my disappearing CG shows up. I didn't think iit helped but after its wearing off, I know now it did help some. Since we are are all so different, I guess you just havve to try stuff. good luck, RAy
PS - this was for dystonia in left leg that draws my leg up and makes walking so difficult. Dr. Hauser said, I think, they do collegen inn vocal chords for speech, but intimated it was very painfull - don't know if I'm up to that.yet
