Re: Toxins on Humans/Carrie/SCNT need for education

Hi Ray:
    I agree fully with you.
A lot of discussion about stem cells is going on in the media, by
people either who do not understand or who do no want to understand because
of their preconceived notions. This results in gross distorsion of the
truth. This is very common especially in the newspaper artices written by
the so called free lance writers, who seem to think they understand
everything and have a right to educate others.
The only way we can fight this is for all of us to write to our local
papers in a clear and understandable style to inform the public. Even then,
we may not win he hearts of all of them, but atleast we have done our job
right. Also in my view, writing an article once does not seem to be
sufficient. It appears one has to keep on bombarding the public with the
truth, before it can really sink in.
    Who said life is easy?
    Regards.
    Raj
