Re: stem cell research/abortion/KF

You must to have a spermatozoid alive and an egg alive also to be
combined and produce an embryo alive . If they were not alive before
combined there would be no embryo. As a consequence one can say when
life ends (cells are death) but one can not say when the life began. So
it is very arbitrary to choose when an aggregate of human cells sould
start to be considered as a human being alive. Any biologist can agree
on this.
Best,
Joao Carvalho

 you say

"Respectfully, but following the above argumentation would one say that
all the human spermatozoids and all the human eggs cells (not
defective) that there are in the world should be considered "half human
beings" at present time...and not as only as trully human cells. And
then all the followers of pro-life should say that these cells must have
to be preserved and never discarded also...

But " human spermatozoids and all the human eggs cells" being held
seperately
do not constitute human life. Human life begins when the two meet and
conceive.
They are not "half human beings" No biologist would agree with you.
