Having seen a 12-week fetus (removed from the uterus for therapeutic reasons) struggle for 15 minutes or so before dying makes a pretty strong impression towards the position that a fetus is a human being. As to the issue of "pre-implantation stem cells", there is room for legitimate discussion in that instance. My objections deal with "viable" fetuses, and the "viability" is changing very quickly these days. Best, Bob ********************************************** Robert A. Fink, M. D., F.A.C.S., P.
