Audrey -

I agree 100% with Greg, and would echo everything he says.  I've watched
people have to go on disability because some idiot doctor wants to withhold
the meds in case they're needed more later.  Medicate for today!

In addition, Audrey, there are deep brain surgeries available in Australia as
well as elsewhere in the world, should your friend eventually need it.  And
there's always a chance that a cure will come along before too many more
years.
