Re: Portland, Oregon

Dear Thea,

Portland motels are expensive!! we usually stay on Barbur where some of the
older motels are. OHSU recommends Aladdin for about $45. 00 cheapest we
have found, but it is a dump!
We go a couple of blocks south to the Days Inn. It isn't too bad and it is
around $55.00 with a Senior discount. Plus there is a good Chinese place to
eat there or Buster's BBQ walking distance.

Out at the airport is the Comfort Suite. It is really nice and they have
airport transportation 24 hours a day. Cost is about $86.00. but there
aren't very many places to eat near the motel, except fast food.

Have a good trip.
