this sounds like the same non-medical 'doctor'
who has been quoted recently here in re a 'wellness institute'

i would suggest that his credentials are in question
at least in my humble opinion
if he is perpetuating this urban legend for profit

the internet is a frontier
with all the best and worst aspects which that term might imply
