Re: Sinemet Progression/Dosing
The blood plasma concentration of levodopa is higher and persists longer in the original human trials of Sinemet. The testing was done using whole tablets of 50/200 and one series where the (scored) tablets were broken in half and both taken at the same time.
The data also show that absorption into the blood stream is approximately 77% and lower for some - compared to the regular Sinemet.

Cari--Ask your Dad's doctor about Sinemet 25/100CR. It's the equivalent of half a 50/200CR and you don't lose the slow release effect. Eleanor CG Eleanor (Mom)
