Anyone know the story of McLain Stevenson's appearance on Sullivans show?
Basically Sullivan was calling him "Mel Stevens" and he was trying to get up
to the stage, but was blocked by a large elephant blocking the doorway, the
band was playing his intro music, and he could NOT get through......He said
the elephant was was all bristley and by the time he got through, the show
was over, and he was "covered in bristles and elephant poop" and never got
his chance to perform!  I believe that was his third trip to Sullivan and he
never got on stage.   To hear him tell the story is enough to make you laugh
out loud! I believe he has passed away?
Too bad!
