Sorry for the blank e-mail--I have no idea how I did that.  Anyway, try
taking your Sinemet at least 30 minutes before you eat.  Protein slows the
absorption into the brain.  I know that everyone reacts differently to
medication, but it can't hurt to give it a try.  Eleanor
