Secondary Symptoms of PD (long)

Secondary Symptoms of PD April 2000

A couple of years ago, I set out to collect and organize all I
knew about the myriad effects of PD, other than the "classic
triad" symptoms of tremor, rigidity, and bradykinesia. Not so
much for diagnosis as a clue about what might be expected, and
how to deal with it. This turned into a 20-page document, which
at the time I thought too big and of too narrow interest to
post in this e-mail forum, aside from occasional brief extracts
to answer specific inquiries. But the recent and very rapid
evolution of the www into a resource reference vehicle has
changed my mind. If anyone can use this stuff why not share it.
The Table Of Contents is also the outline, which I shall follow
in posting a few pages at a time to avoid overloading the
email system. And please remember, the statements are my own
opinions only, with no pretension whatever to medical authority.
