I don't know why he is in pain, either; but the above dose of morphine
is inadequate for any significant pain.  Ask that it be significantly
increased.

Where is his pain?  Sometimes, a lesion in the thalamus can cause
pain.  If he had the surgery in the right brain, then his pain would be
on the left side.
