David, Sounds like you were with a general practitioner. You need to see a neurologist, perhaps a movement disorder specialist, especially if you take a look at the National Parkinson's Foundation web site and identify any of the other symptoms of PD. Incidentally, the Newsweek (?) article recently posted had, as I recall, some discussion of common symptoms if you have the posts of the last couple of days. It is also reproduced at the NPF site below. Chuck
