glad to hear you are finally being helped. Do you have pain with your PD? My father has severe headaches and he was told that 40% of PD patients suffer from severe pain. Thanks for emailing me. Will keep you in my prayers. Malissa

I am one of those that waited eight long years for the proper diagnosis. I was even hospitalized on a psych floor for three months at the age of 24. A neurologist (someone picked by a psychiatrist) let me fall to the floor and said there was nothing wrong with me that psychoanalysis would not cure. Last not but not least there is still an outstanding bill at that quack's office. Yes....many years of anguish lead to my diagnosis.
