The below abstract confirms that Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is ONE
DISEASE with various manifestations which includes Sporadic
(NON-HEREDITARY) Olivopontocerebellar atrophy (OPCA),
Shy-Drager Syndrome (SDS) and Striatonigral Degeneration (SND).
