Re: Gulf War Illness
This idea is a good one as I have a friend in Texas who was in the Gulf War. The two of us have discussed the odd health issues that have followed so many who were there. He mentioned Parkinsons at one point as so many came back and complained of extreme tiredness and painful muscle areas with no apparent reason. Those who were there were aware later that serious chemicals were used both on the ground and in the uniforms they wore. As it hasn't really been diagnosed as a single illness, it doesn't stretch the imagination much further to wonder if there might be some neurotoxin source that may be some causal agent for some Parkinsons that the Gulf War Syndrome shares..I am on a bit of shakey ground I realize as I do not have facts to back me up. I offer this as an idea only. *seattle* audrey friend of pwp aussie john 49/42/38?
