This as a well-known sign of Shy-Drager syndrome, a form  of
parkinsonism
that might appear independently of PD, but doesn't respond to
L-dopa.

This sounds like the typical "wearing-off" or "end-of-dose"
condition in
fluctuating-stage PD- a sign that you may need Sinemet. Ask your
neuro, maybe you can change dose schedule without increasing
total amount.
