 The Forum was indeed fantastic!!There were so many more people than before
that I didn't get a chance to meet everyone.i.e.Linda Herman.There were three
main goals: 1,To secure a $71.4 million increase in FY2001 for PD
research----this is to gaurntee that  money will be used definitely for PD
and that conference report language for this increase  be included   2.
Support an increase of 2.7 billion toward the goal of doubling funding for
the NIH by FY 2003 .3. Provide 20 million for the Department of Defense for
its Neurotoxin Exposure Research Program for FY 2001.

NEVER have we had such a chance for a cure.Michael J. Fox is a tremendous
asset and a wonderful person. HIs commitment comes thru. MIss Delaware was
also there, Our pollitical supporters from the beginning---Sen Wellstone and
Cong.Upton spoke.
Joan Samuelson is truly most special,as she has worked so hard for so long.
and so well.  Mike Claeys is another who has helped get us to where we are
now.

But it won't happen unless we get the money that is necessary, so it's vital
that our senators and congresman  are maden aware of our goals,as stated
above.It's vital that the Sentate oppose the Smith Amenment.( which would ban
fetal stem cell research)

Hope this isn't too disjointed,but I'm tired,but I feel strongly the
montentum should continue.
