MRI Results?
I just got a letter from my neurologist on the results from an MRI. I don't understand some of it and it's another two weeks before my appointment with him. I wonder if someone could tell me what it means, so I will be better prepared when I see him. Here is the hard part: "The brain itself shows some evidence of wear and tear in the form of "ischemic gliosis" in the white matter, however, there is no suggestion of infarction, hemorrhage or tumors seen. Ther is an incidental finding of some thickening of the maxillary sinus on the left. the ethmoid sinuses are also involved." Now that is just too technical for me...any help would be appreciated. Please respond off list. I'll understand if there are no responses, but it doesn't hurt to try.
