Re: Opening Mouth
Allan, I know I read somewhere recently about the tightly shut eyes but darned if I can find it, but I'm still looking. Two subjects come to mind, blepharospasm (see )or look up tardive dyskinesia. Aparently both conditions may appear after prolonged or heavy treatment with dopamine agonists. Will get back to you Alf -----Original Message----- From: Allan Rosenberg [] Sent: Thursday, 13 July 2000 5:50 To: PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Opening Mouth In the last week or so Barbara has had difficulty opening her mouth at meal times. She wants to eat but it seems that her mouth is frozen shut. This has happened with her eyes being shut tightly, but botox has helped that. Has anyone else experienced this new phenomenon and if so, what suggestions do you have? Allanros@xxxxxxx
