i take longer than 20 minutes
still by myself
i still feel fortunate
--for other things
but, one can't get too attatched to those either
because it doesn't matter in the end
none of us will escape that
even if there is a cure tomorrow
birth. old age. sickness and death
no escape

janet knows
PD is not wonderful
CD is not wonderful
life is wonderful
and it takes effort to see that

the life is yours
make the most of it
despite parkinsons
"never complain never explain"
Wendell Castle wrote this on a table top
with little black plastic dots spaced out across the surface
had to get down low and
look at it from a certain angle
to see it
hard
most don't get it
art isn't always easy to see
how much harder
to see others' hope and joy
and pain and suffering
most of us
don't get it
spirit so weak
hell
anger
no hope
care for no one
attitude bad
miserable in the rain
spirit so strong
caring ----- caring for the lives of thousands
singing in the rain
. . . same rain . . .

youthful spirit attitude
