Re: THANK YOU FOR SHARING
Yes, Brigitte, I am receiving you. I do not routinely respond to messages, but you seem to need reassurance, and I can try some. I am not a PWP (person with Parkinson) but I am a CG (care giver) for my wife Barbara who was diagnosed over 11 yrs ago. They call the early stages a honeymoon period, but no honeymoon I know of is anything like it. Get acquainted with the disease, available therapy, and a Good neurologist who is a highly qualified movement disorder specialist. Together with that specialist you should be able to optimize your therapy. Whatever family support you cen get should be fully appreciated. Frinds who understand and accept will probably decrease in number, but they become even more precious. Keep active and continue doing what you enjoy doing and as your activities decrease with ability you may find better ones. Do not be misled by quacks and untried and unproven drugs; that would rob you of precious time and a lot of money of course. Above all, keep loving. Michel brigitte zimmer wrote: > Hallo everyone!
