Re: depression
I was so relieved to find out there was a possible underlying cause for the terrible depression I went through. Guys like Greg talking about it made me realize that I wasn't weak, or strange. I couldn't figure out why I could be so depressed "out of the blue". Last week I took the wife and kids to the beach. It was beautiful, my kids were having a great time. I kept having this desire to swim out into the water and end it all. Because of the discussion of this group, I was able to recognize that I had only been on this new antidepressant for a few days & may need to give it some time. I allowed myself to shed some tears (not self pity, DEPRESSION), and say to myself "this too shall pass". Depression does need to be talked about. David Meigs aka: Pappy davidmeigs@xxxxxxx
