Hi ya all!
STOP for a minute!  I am one of the PWP's with depression.  It has crept up
on me and my current situation does nothing to alleviate the depression.
The way I see this pink flamingo vs suicide debate is as follows.
* A depressed person will read depression into pink flamingoes, and
* a person without depression will not become a chronic depressed person
just by reading articles about suicide.
Having said this I believe that we must be considerate towards each other on
the network.  Different strokes for different oaks, etc. Each of us have our
specific needs (mine is to attempt o generate money to take my employer to
court) and I have always marvelled at the ability of the members of this
network to converse eloquently about anything from humour to hard, cold
reality issues.
This is the strength of this group and I am proud to be involved.

Thank you Barb Knight! I think pink flamingos are much preferable to
dwelling on death and depression.
Although I hope not to find pink flamingos
