When a sincere apology is offered, it would be reasonable for those concerned to accept the apology and forget the incident. On the other hand, it is unsettling to have someone conduct this type of investigation and publish the results. I don't understand the reasoning behind this action. It has the appearance of trying to intimidate a person who has a differing viewpoint. This type of treatment directed at one individual could contribute to a lack of participation on the list by many others who would like to get involved. As list members, we need to encourage participation and foster an atmosphere of mutual respect. Dave Bergford 59/58/55? dbergford@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
