doctors' speakers group

has anyone heard of this group?
i had a phone call a few minutes ago,
 from a dr witanen (his spelling?)
asking to send me information 
 on an upcoming talk on pd.
i asked for more info on the group -
 he esaid they are a group of doctors 
who speak on different subjects.
at a local public library.
today the subject is golf!
next month ti is Parkinson's.
what about Parkinson's , i asked
this fabulous new t treatment, hew replied
tell me more, i requested
he muttered something about 
improving the rating from 76 to 13
by some sort of surgical (i think) 
treatment of the  upper  vertebra .....
i gave him my address to send more info, 
and told him to contact our local npf office.
i put down the  phone and immediately dialed them - 
but guess who had got through first?
