Marjorie-- this does sound pretty unusual and scary--I hope the glaucoma
specialist has expertise to apply and share. You need to have a better idea
of what on earth is going on!  Our s-i-l- doesn't have glaucoma, and is
really blind in one eye from his longterm diabetes, but I don't think he
has anything like what you describe.
Please keep in touch--we are concerned, too.
