The portion of the Bible
that was read this last Sabbath
in the synagogue
contained the verse
Deuteronomy chapter 22 verse 7.
i doont have a Bible handy
(still haven't unpacked my books)
but you can look it up.
It comes in the midst of an admonishment
that when one sees a bird sitting on a nest,
ones should chase the bird away
before taking her eggs to use
"to prolong the life of man"
intriguing?
