Hi Roger,
Welcome to the list.
IMOHO, we will never become immortal because even though our organs can be
repaired, you are forgetting about the forces of Nature, like GRAVITY.
After about 50 years the forces of nature start showing up in our bodies
just because we stand upright.
You know what happens when you get to messing with Mother Nature don't you?
By the time we would be in our 100's our skin would be so baggy we'd trip
over it and
fall and break our necks.

This will only apply to those of us who don't fall off our soapboxes and
break our necks
before we get to be 100.

Best wishes to your Father.

just me,
Marjorie
