This may beof interest to you----
several years before  my PD was dx  the whole family got a terrible flu
Iwas sick - really bad for 4-5 days-

then I noticed  that I  felt better and I looked down at my toes and saw

that I was in my bed with my scarlet blanket
 I had been  under that blanket for days and I had seen  it just in
shades of grey.
and everything else had been grey too. and now every thing was it's real
colour.
quite suddenly.
I have no explanation and it has never happened again
