Dear Jo Ann-- Just to say that you have repeated the error many have made.
In fact, Gore NEVER SAID he "invented the net"......what he said was that
he had initiated the drive to push internet stuff through Congress when he
was there, and I heard this correction confirmed on the radio today, by
two U. of Michigan scientists who were involved in the early days of the
internet.
Express your feelings about Gore if you wish, but PLEASE DON'T repeat this
distortion.....PLEASE
