Hi -

I've been involved with 2 such studies.  1 for an early trial of tolcapone
and the other for a surgical xenotransplantation.

In both of the projects there were lots of forms to fill out; sort of like
medical diaries.  And also things such as blood work, MRIs, EKGs, and the
like.

In my case, even though no guarantees were made, the results were certainly
worth the effort.  Especially with the latter procedure.
