Maine Dist. 27 Senate vote-counting drama for PWP

    Here is an update on the absence of a true
count of my votes, and the overcount
of Senator Abromson's vote totals,
in Maine Senate District 27.

    I have had two phone conversations with
Maine's Attorney General, Andrew Ketterer.
Will the Green Independent Party get fair
treatment for one of its candidates??

     He said that if this had happened to him,
he would feel as angry as I do. I felt hopeful.
He is going to take up the vote scandal with
the Secretary of State.

     I hope people will respond in strong
ways to::

  - the UNCOUNTED vote for me,
in at least 4 Portland precincts;

  - the undercounted vote for me
in the precinct reports from most of
 theother Portland precincts;

   - the Falmouth vote count that has changed
every time I call town hall there (four times),
yet the ballots are supposedly "locked and sealed,
according to the interim town clerk;

   - the OUTRAGE that write-in votes, including Green write-in
votes are treated as if they were disposable and worthless.

    There needs to be a STRONG public
reaction to get Maine Senate District 27
recounted,  including ALL write-ins.

I would like to see

1)a guarantee that Green Party members
and others who are neither Democrats nor
Republicans will be  including in counting the ballots;

 2) an explanation of how 500 extra votes
in Portland Distrct 5-5 were given to Sen.
Abromson. the incumbent;

 3) that all write-in votes are listed
and included; and attributed correctly,
 and that other counting grievances are resolved.

 4) the town clerks of Falmouth and Portland
be held responsible for reprehensible and
arbitrary mmanipulation of vote totals:

 5) that Senator Abromson be required to
await the outcome of these re-counting
and counting procedures before any
candidate is declared the winner in
that election.
