Re: Looking for an Online Dictionary? ...
Hi Ervin, You bin tryin' to get those links t' work since Oct. 3rd.? You are a persistent rascal! Seriously, I didn't know what you were talkin' about at first ... but I listened... and then I looked at (as opposed to ) This is a whole 'nuther ball game... Different dictionary site entirely... I followed through the pages.... Cool Tools CleverKeys Free Browser Buttons Hhhhmmmmmm...... You would need to be online ALL THE TIME in order for this to be workable. You would need Internet Explorer or Netscape as your browser (which I do not - I prefer Opera). You would be using an online dictionary instead of the very good dictionary / thesaurus you probably already have with MS Word / WordPerfect / MS Publisher etc. Even my shareware e-mail HAS a dictionary. (spellcheck) On-line dictionaries are a great tool to have bookmarked and to use in place of a paper dictionary but I'm not sure about adding this software utility... Might be OK.... it would need testing and evaluating.... On the other hand, I think this just may be too redundant. Anyone else want to try this??? Best regards ....... murray ************ On 23 Jan 2001, at 19:16, ervinmccarthy wrote: > Murray, in the dictionary.com did you have any trouble getting the links > toolbar to show up in the browser?
