Re: PAXIL Attn Dr Myers
Hi Charlie, Yes I have been rather quiet on the list lately. I also was no-mail for about six weeks while on an RV vacation. Which is how I got all bent out of shape, bad back and long driving days are not compatible. I have been taking benadryl to try and help ;with the tremor. I have been diagnosed as a "tremor-dominant' parkie by my new doctor, a movement disorder spec at Vanderbilt University. I am just starting on Mirapex at his direction and will be tapering off the benadryl. I am just in my second week so am not feeling any thing good or bad yet. Meanwhile, I have had to resort to some ativan for sleep and muscle relaxation which will stop the back pain and the pins an needles sensations. I need to call him to see if it OK for me to take the ativan for several weeks. It really works well but I am not sure if I should keep taking it. But this afternoon I am feeling fine, and thanks for the explanation you gave me, I new it had something to do with nerve compression somewhere.
