Re: new

We have insurance and medicaire (through the government) and people who are on
welfare have medicaid. Luckily nearly everything is paid for through our
insurance. Of course we have to pay for the insurance and the medicaire but they
do cover the bills. My husband just had a pacemaker installed. The cost was
$33,000 plus. Our bill was $0.00. He was helicoptered to the hospital. We
haven't seen the bill for that yet but we are told it will be close to $6,000.
And that was just one illness. Every day there is something else. I'm sure you
know what I mean. I wonder how our insurance company can afford to have clients
like us. We live in a small community. There are lots of primary care physicians
available for us to chose from. I have a lung specialist 35 West miles of us. My
husband's neurologist is 40 miles East of us
The local doctor is in contact with the neurologist and the cardiologist. We
feel comfortable with the care. I just wish we could go 2 days without having to
call or visit one of them (G).

And to think, 8 years ago we were looking forward to retirement to enjoy it! No
one ever knows what is in store for them. I was the handicapped one. Now I am
super healthy in comparison to my husband who was hardly ever sick until PD.
I just hope we can see some improvement when these meds start to take affect.
How long does it take before Requip begins to work?
