Research can continue. The federal government has not banned that. It just does 
not feel the
government should use tax dollars to fund the research. Anyone can debate their 
side of an
issue with good reasons and will if it benefits them. People will love the 
administration
which gives to their favorite project. This is really bad for the country. 
Governments should
not do things simply because polls are in favor of that particular thing but 
this is the way
the country has been run these last eight years. People run for office using 
promises to give
and they win on that alone. Bush is trying to weigh all sides of every issue 
that has come up
since he took office. He is not just going with the flow and he is getting 
creamed for his
vallant efforts. I say three cheers for the man who has enough fortitude to try 
to make the
right decision despite what the polls say.
