DBS

About a month or so ago, I posted a request for comments on why, if
this was usually such a successful procedure, didn't more, or even all, PWP
have it done. I got 2 responses, both substantially the same, which said
that it is too a dangerous operation, and they had looked into it and had
decided the benefits weren't worth the risks. I guess what I need is a
primer on the whole topic. [The pro n cons, what it is about/does, recovery,
etc] DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PUBLICATION OR OTHER SOURCE OF INFO ON DBS? I
should also, I know, check the List's achieves, but I have never done that.
Is there a set of instructions for accessing it? Thanks!!!
BBA
