Re: More questions
A few years ago I started feeling a tremor in my right arm in addition to some cognitive decline and sleeping problems. Since I am a Naturopath and have access to Great Smokies Laboratory, I took a number of lab tests. One of those tests, a DMPS (chelation) 24hr. urine challenge test (for mercury) came back at 36. Reference (normal) is 0-4. I had my mercury fillings removed incorrectly 10 yrs ago without a dam or O2. I had some DMPS "push" treatments from a chelation MD but that was too much detox. I have settled on a heavy metal detox called NDF - I have chosen a wide range of brain protection supplements and anti-oxidants in addition to regular walks, yoga a low stress environment in the CO mountains. I also use enemas and colonics to help with the detox. I have found that when I feel "toxic" and/or depressed, cleaning out the toxic material in my colon changes my whole outlook upon the world. I expect that answers your heavy metal / chelation question, Mark -----Original Message----- From: Parkinson's Information Exchange Network [mailto:PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Emily and Julian Brinac Sent: Thursday, December 27, 2001 8:14 AM To: PARKINSN@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: More questions Importance: High This is from alternative approach to healing. 1) Did any of you take Growth or DHEA hormones prior to PD diagnoses or after? 2) Did anyone go for chelation therapy prior or after diagnoses? 3) Did anyone have metal tests checked by means of hair or urine analyses? Some blame excess of mercury, lead, iron to be cause of the disease. Julian and I met Parkinson patient having his mercury being removed by means of chelation and glutathione injections to detoxify the body of the metals. This has been done with preventive doctor. This person is still going for the treatments which have been going on for 2 yrs. 4) Did you notice losing weight since being diagnosed?
