DYSKINESIA

Dyskinesia is an involuntary twisting or rocking movement. Any body part
can join in the 'dance'. Mild dyskinesia looks worse than it is but violent
dyskinesia
is very nasty indeed.
It usually becomes visible after some years of treatment. but it can show up
when treatment begins.
It is often an indication of too much medication in the previous dose or you
are not leaving enough time between doses.

That's the definition of dyskinesia but what do you do about
it...................
you start asking questions and you start a diary........
These are good to start with................
have the meds been changed in any way?
has the onset been gradual or sudden
what other meds is he taking
when do they occur---in relation to meals... to medications......
                                    to sleep...... to other activities.....

then you need to find a book Some are listed at amazon.com
I reccommend ' when Parkinson's strikes early ' ISBN 0-89793-340-0

go to www..parkinson.org and find 'Ask the Doctor'

Stay around and keep on asking
