I have had PD for about 15 years (dx 1988)and have had many PD related experiences. not the least of which was the Hellish dyskinesia which was part of my life prior to the bilateral Pallidotomy which I had in August of 1995.I am now taking 17 pills per day and i have a minimum of off time. But I know that sooner or later some of those pills will fail and my off time will increase. In the mean time I am a wood worker and I walk a lot. I am 58 and I have seven grand children and a shih tzu The grandchildren don't live with me but the shih tzu and my wife of 38 years, Sue do..I live in Walla Walla, WA.which is famous for the onions which they grow. I am not new to this list but there are many who are relatively new to the list. I usually just a lurker and i truly appreciate the variety of posts which i receive each day from poetry to the HOW survey to the daily headlines which are relevant to parkies like me. And the support that you give each other is wonderful. I have learned more about the disease thar we share on this list than all the Neuros with whom i have talked . over the years
