Re: Melatonin info.


Hi folks,

I believe Melatonin is a precurser of seratonin--Maybe we should be
careful if we are taking any SSRIs (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, etc) or
anything that increases or maximizes seratonin--SSRIs inhibit the
reuptake of seratonin, which I believe means that is stays in the pathway
longer, is active longer, and is more beneficial, therefore. It may be
possible to get too much seratonin, which is not good, if combining these
drugs and supplements.

Please excuse this if it has already been said.
