Re: Rob/Thanks from a dummy
Rob, thanks so much for your very informative response to my questions. Pls take your time. I do know a little about cholesterol, but you have enlightened me and confirmed some questions I had re lechitin and other things. Your dietary recommendation, esp. re fats, sounds sound to me. I have given up on "low-fat"stuff, cause it tastes so awful. I have some light olive oil (oops, should it be "light"?)that is real good for frying fish, etc. I should forego cake, ice cream and cookies, I know, I know. My HDL never seems to change from 40 no matter what I do, but I haven't done all that you suggest. Am going for Lipid panel and other tests next week. It is hard to know what drugs, substances, vitamins to take (I take vitamins, calcium, etc)., you hear one thing is OK, then it isn't. You are a great help and a gold mine of information. You should send me a bill when you get through. I this info may be of great interest to others on the List. Thanks so much, Rayilyn, an impatient ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
