Tom, I remember you, but wasn't sure you were the Tom from Houston area.
Thanks for remembering me.  Hope you are well.  Alfonso took over after
me--wanted to get into more of the research area since that was my
background (Chemistry).  Still looking.

Yes, still watch the list.  For those that don't know me, my Dad was finally
diagnosed with PD back in the late 50's about 38 years old.  We were in a
small town in Mississippi, and wow, some of the experiences he had with
doctors.  It was finally a family doctor (and friend) that told him he had
no idea what he had and suggested he go to Ochner's (sp?) in New Orleans
where they did make the diagnosis. Later, he had 2 brain surgeries performed
by Dr. Cooper in New York, as a research subject, think Dr. Cooper is
considered the father of cyrosurgery or something like that, just learned
this.  He had PD before L-Dopa; think he may have been part of a research
study with L-Dopa back then.  Later they came out with the Sinemet.  My
father was always ready to participate in research for the next best
breakthrough.  He's always been my inspiration, wonderful man.

Take care, maybe will see ya sometime.  They finally got a young-onset group
